Abla Memet

Abla Memet was a founder of Ablajan Alnazar Naan bakery shop. He owned 6 naan shops with his two brothers. Zohre Muhemmed, his sister, confirmed that Abla Memet was detained because of accusations that he had a relative who was supposedly a “separatist” (someone that wanted Uyghurs to live freely). This was corroborated by journalists at Radio Free Asia.

Reside Hashim

Reshide Hashim, 65 years old Uyghur woman from Toxsun, Turpan.She visited Turkey in 2016 to see her son (testifier). She was sent to concentration camp in 2017. She had eye surgery before her detention and she has high blood pressure; likely in poor health.

Ryzuangul Toqbai

Ryzuangul Toqbai is a young woman in her 30’s (36) from a town called Kunes in the Xinjiang region. Ryzuangul is married with 3 children and was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 (acknowledging possible poor health).

Behtiyar Sadir

Behtiyar Sadir is a 47 year old man from Urumqi in the Xinjiang province. He’s the father of three children. Behtiyar finished his university studies and was assigned to the transportation department where he worked for 15 years. Before resigning he held the position of Deputy Director of the Urumqi Southern Outskirts Bus Terminal. After his resignation, he became a nutritionist and started an accredited health consulting firm, Behtiyar Health Consulting LTD. He holds an official disability license from a severe burn where he lost all his fingers on one hand. Behtiyar’s parents have both passed away and he has a brother and sister who live in Sweden.
